When we arrived in Shanghai, we were immediately tested where they were gonna place us. During my "test", the 老师只问我两个问题。Which is weird, really but nevertheless.
It went like this:
老师:上海的天气怎么样?
我:很冷。
老师:马尼拉的天气怎么样?
我:很热!
Then that was it, I was placed in C 班。Specifically, C2.
Briefer: In Shanghai, we had levels A to I. With A being the most basic, and I, obviously, the most advanced.
For the first semester, we were in Level C, for the next semester, we were supposed to be in Level D already.
This is our class. Not always complete, but shown below are those who were usually in class. Taken during the Filipino Day, they skipped class for awhile to drop by.
Our class was never complete. Only during the exams in the first quarter did I ever see them completely. Come second half, we were lucky if there were 8 of us in class. For my classmates, I had French (Toma, Alice, Eleonore, & Angele), Kazakh (Allan & Ajak), English (Tommy & Connor), Syrian (Malon), Turkish (Can), American (Fred), Canadian (Claire), Columbian (Julian), Japanese (Sawa), and from Panama (Natalie). Towards the end, we also had Men Ken who's from Brazil but is studying in the US. Sorry if I forgot some.
(Natalie, Tommy, Connor, Men Ken, Sawa, Eleonore, Fred, Sigh, Me)
While we were not always present in class, once you text everyone to inform them of a class dinner or outing, one can ALWAYS expect almost everyone to be there. The picture below was taken when we had a class dinner after the exams before everyone left for their own countries. We had dinner in an all-you-can-eat Italian restaurant in Huaihai Zhong Lu 近 Cheng Du Lu. I obviously forgot the name of the place. Had drinks in Xin Tian Di after. Then later on watched the Spain vs. Netherlands game at Windows Scoreboard with Tommy, his friend Michael, Sawa, and Sigh.

I will miss my classmates. And someday, when I go back to Shanghai, I am sure that I will always, always, remember them. Especially 马老师, my class adviser, who's got to be the most patient teacher I have and will EVER meet!!
