Oh Tagaytay..

I have been to Tagaytay so, so many times before. It is one of those places you go to with your friends or cousins whenever you are sick and tired of the same old things you see/do in Manila!! The weather in Tagaytay, of course, is also an added bonus!!

My Tagaytay trip last Jan. 14-16 was the first trip I had (outside Bicol) for 2010! It was also my first trip with Yuchi, Hannah, and Tanni. At first I was hesitant.. coz I had stuff to do at home and so on.. but when my Bangkok trip got cancelled, I decided, that I might as well enjoy myself before I really get depressed over that wasted Bangkok trip! right?!?

And so I went with them to Tagaytay. Flight was 7:45, I arrived at Naga airport at 7:25! Don't blame me I almost left my passport which I needed to submit to GBF so I had to go back! And so we arrived in Manila and began our search for Kuya Bert. Yuchi said, kilala ko daw sya as per our previous encounter.. I said "okay.. yeah.. let's search for him nalang.." because in my mind, I had no idea! That was months ago kaya!!

And so imagine our surprise when a car stopped in front of us. Apparently, sya na si Kuya Bert (talagang hindi ko sya makikilala dahil semi-kalbo na sya!) and so we went to Tagaytay! Arrived there at the Basic office mga 10 and ate lunch na with our host..

Day 1:

Arrived at the house..

toured around Highlands..

si Hannah ang nag drive!

Went to the Highlands farm..

Oh so many animals!!

Kami lang ang mga tao!!

Day 2: My FAVORITE day!! Also dubbed (in my mind) as "Ang Kakaibang Tagaytay!"

toured the Basic Necessity farm..

Oh my goodness GULAY!!

As in LITERALLY!!

Left at around 12 noon to go to Taal! Yahoo!!

Arrived at the resort at around 1!

GUTOM!! Pero walang kainan dun!!

So let's do this OLD SCHOOL STYLE, DLSU STYLE: SKYFLAKES!! Ang dakilang pantawid gutom!

Started to board our boat..

eventually, this was what we called

"THE CRAZIEST BOAT RIDE"

dahil ang lakas ng alon so basang basa kami!

parang naligo din lang kami!

then horse ride naman to the crater!

yahoo!!

ang aking guide na feeling cowgirl!

so ako din FEELING COWGIRL!!

Take note: naka slippers yan ha!!

Side note: "Ms., nakakahinga ka pa ba?? hindi ka masyado afraid sa alikabok!"

1 hour after..

THIS WAS WHAT WE SAW!!

TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

So in the end, it was REALLY FUN!

Never mind if we weren't able to go zipline..

or spa..

THIS ALL MADE MY TRIP WORTH IT!!

"Oh that wasted Bangkok trip!"
